Marcia Trimble
Marcia Trimble was a nine year old girl, born in 1966, who lived in Nashville, Tennessee. After leaving her home to deliver some Girl Scout cookies to a neighbor, 9 year old Marcia’s body was found 33 days later in a garage less than 200 yards from her parent’s home. Marcia had been sexually assaulted and then strangled.
Marcia’s killer has never been found, and since DNA evidence has deteriorated over time, it is likely that justice will ever be served in this case.
There is a lot of information online about the case, if you are interested in doing a little bit of your own research. This case is very significant because it marks the loss of Nashville’s innocence.
This is the only picture I could find when I searched for Marcia Trimble in Nashville that could possibly be it, so I think this is Marcia’s picture.
