The Black Dahlia – Elizabeth Short

Elizabeth Short, otherwise known as The Black Dahlia, was born in 1924, and was murdered in 1947. Her mutilated body was found in Leimert Park in Los Angeles, and remains unsolved to this very day.

Elizabeth Short, a wannabe actress, was spotted by a passerby. Her body was found nude, and completely cut in half. Her face was severely cut, and her entire body was bruised.

There have been many suspects along the years, including Orson Welles and Woody Guthrie. Nobody has been convicted of the horrendous murder.

It is doubtful that Betty Short will ever have justice, but I find the case interesting nonetheless. There are many graphic pictures of the crime scene, and of Elizabeth’s body, and I have seen many of them, but I will not post them here because I know that a lot of people do not have a strong stomach.

Meredith Kercher

Meredith Susanna Cara Kercher was born in February of 1986 in England, and was an English student at Leeds University. She went abroad to finish her degree. Meredith Kercher was murdered on Nov. 1 of this year. She was stabbed to death in Italy.

There were four leading suspects in the case, however now two men and one women are being held in custody, two in Italy and one in Germany. Amanda Knox is a student from the United States, and is the female suspect. She had been living with Meredith. According to various news sources, Amanda Knox confessed to murdering Kercher after Kercher refused to participate in an orgy with her and two males.

There are still many questions left to be answered about Meredith Kercher’s death, and unfortunately, we may never know the honest truth.

Natalee Holloway

Natalee Ann Holloway was born in October of 1986, and is from Alabama. Unfortunately, Natalee Holloway disappeared in May of 2005 when she was on a graduation trip to Aruba. She has not been found, and authorities in Aruba believe the young woman to be dead.

Just several days ago, on Nov. 21, Joran van der Sloot, Satish Kalpoe, and Deepak Kalpoe were rearrested due to new evidence, apparently found in phone calls and text messages between the three. Were these arrests just a false alarm?

It is still a mystery what exactly has happened to Natalee Holloway, but her own behavior has been called into question. Regardless of her behavior, she is a missing young woman who deserves justice.

Riley Ann Sawyers

The body of an unidentified child, “Baby Grace”, was found in a storage container at an island in Galveston’s West Bay. Baby Grace’s skull was fractured, but she was predicted to be about 2 or 3 years old.

Riley Ann Sawyers’ grandmother was the one to call the police. Apparently, she had not seen the child in months, and was worried. Riley’s mother was called in for an interview, where she confessed that she was involved in the death of her daughter, along with her husband, Royce Zeigler.

The mother, Kimberly Trenor, claimed that she, along with Zeigler, beat Riley with leather belts and would submerge her head in water. She also confessed to throwing her daughter against a tile floor, picking her up by her hair. Kimberly Trenor also confessed to disposing of the body after storing it for some time.

After looking at pictures of this beautiful little girl, I feel so much sadness and grief for her and the rest of her family who surely misses her. It makes me feel so much hatred for her mother and step-father as well. How could anybody possibly do such a thing to such a beautiful life?

RIP Riley, you were a beautiful little girl and did not deserve this.

Missing Child No. 1 – Elizabeth Lynn Paris

Elizabeth Lynn Paris is listed on the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children website – http://www.missingkids.com

She is listed as an endangered runaway, missing since October 4th of this year. Elizabeth was born on June 2nd of 1993, and would be 14 now. She is missing from Lakeland, Florida. She has red hair and hazel eyes, and is approximately 5 feet tall. She is listed as having a birthmark on her neck.
